Farm88 connects you with 1,265+ farms across Australia -updated every week so you're never chasing dead leads.
Free. No credit card. Available soon on iOS & Android.
To get your second-year Working Holiday Visa, you need to complete 88 days of specified work in a regional area of Australia. Farm work is the most common way to do it.
You need to complete 88 calendar days of eligible regional work. Days don't need to be consecutive -you can split them across different farms or regions.
Work must be done in a designated regional area. All 7 Australian states and territories count: QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, WA, NT and TAS.
Working 35.25+ hours in a week counts as 7 days toward your 88. Fewer hours still count - Farm88 calculates the exact days for you automatically.
Fruit and vegetable picking, packing, pruning, planting, farm maintenance, shearing, feedlot work, cotton and grain harvesting -all count toward your 88 days.
Working in a city restaurant, hostel, or retail store does not count -even if in a regional town. The work must be agricultural or related to primary industry.
You need a completed 1263 form signed by your employer, plus payslips. Farm88 generates a PDF log of all your entries -ready to attach to your visa application.
Every backpacker goes through the same nightmare. We built Farm88 to end it.
Most farm directories haven't been touched since 2019. You call the number -it's disconnected.
You email 20 farms. Silence. None of them needed workers this week -and there's no way to tell.
Spreadsheets, notes apps, voice messages to yourself. Is it 62 days? Or 64?
Facebook groups, random websites, hostel noticeboards. There's no single source of truth.
We pull data from government sources, refresh it every Monday, and show you which farms are hiring right now -on a map, filtered by crop and region, with direct contact info.
Three screens. That's all it takes to go from lost to booked.

Farm88 was built for backpackers, by people who lived through the same process.
"I landed in Brisbane with no idea where to find farm work. Found 3 farms in QLD hiring the same week on Farm88. Called the first one Monday morning, started Tuesday. Finished my 88 days in 4 months."
"The Hiring Now badge is a game changer. I wasted 3 weeks with WikiFarms calling farms that weren't even operating anymore. Farm88 shows you what's actually available right now."
"The 88-day tracker saved me so much stress. I logged my hours every week, exported the PDF and attached it straight to my visa application. The immigration officer didn't ask a single question."
"I used the Near Me filter while driving the Bruce Highway and found a citrus farm 15 km away that was hiring the same day. Got the job on the spot. You can't do that with any other app."
"The crop season filter is brilliant. I searched 'vegetables in season in SA' and it showed me exactly which farms were harvesting right now. No guessing, no wasted calls."
"Free, no subscription, no hidden fees. The app does exactly what it says. I recommended it to every backpacker I met on my second year journey across Australia."
